Friendly and brotherly Azerbaijan’s development in an environment of democracy, peace, unity, and equality, not only in the political but also in the economic sphere, is the heartfelt desire of the Turkish people. I am confident that this success, which we expect from an independent and sovereign Azerbaijan, can be realized under the visionary leadership of Heydar Aliyev.

At present, the young Republic of Azerbaijan is taking steps that can become an example for the whole world. He is doing great endeavors to build a democratic and civilized society. The entire Turkic world supports the work carried out by President Heydar Aliyev in this field.
