We express our gratitude to President Heydar Aliyev for directing Azerbaijan’s policy towards the West. We express our gratitude to Heydar Aliyev for expressing his unwavering support for the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. At the same time, we express our gratitude that the employees of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan will actively participate in NATO’s operations in Kosovo.

Azerbaijan really occupies a worthy place on the world scale and continues to play this role. President Heydar Aliyev plays the greatest part in Azerbaijan’s performance of this role.

I am very pleased to work with a man who is distinguished by all aspects, and who is still one of the greatest leaders in the Caucasus. I learned a lot from President Heydar Aliyev, who had a long political career and really built his country and state. In recent years, he has been seriously moving along the path of economic and political reforms, creating a solid foundation for the development and progress of his country.

I consider Heydar Aliyev my friend. I adore him. He is a genius. Heydar Aliyev did a great job for Azerbaijan and will forever remain in the history of his country. If Heydar Aliyev also considers me as his friend, it is a great honor for me.
