Great Britain displays particular interest in the countries of the Caucasus and Central Asia, and Azerbaijan plays a key role in this region. The United Kingdom is pleased with the day-to-day growth in its relations with Azerbaijan and the ascent of cooperation to the level of strategic partnership.

We are well aware of the achievements concluded in Azerbaijan due to the implementation of democratic reforms under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev. Great Britain is closely observing the democratization processes in Azerbaijan.
