Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev was a special person not only for his people, but also for everyone who knew him and worked with him. His memory will live forever thanks to the great endeavors he did for his people, for raising the reputation and respect of his Motherland in the international world, and finally thanks to the fact that he achieved stability and peace in Azerbaijan. It is necessary to pray to God that no one ever intends to discredit his achievements and good deeds. The death of this person is a great loss for Ukraine. We had support in the person of Heydar Aliyev, he was a great friend of Ukraine, did a lot to strengthen Azerbaijani-Ukrainian relations. He had the most pleasant and sincere friendship with the President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.

Without exaggeration, I want to say that Heydar Aliyev was the most prominent figure in the post-Soviet space, like any politician, or any person, for decades he has always enjoyed special respect for his charisma. It wasn’t unreasonable. Everyone admired his outstanding performance, ability to quickly solve problems, establish pleasant interaction, and reach mutual agreements in the most difficult and complex cases.

As the greatest friend and genious politician, his memory will always live in Ukraine.
