We have met and talked with. President Heydar Aliyev many times. Personally, the experience of such a well-known political figure as Heydar Aliyev is of great importance to me.

President Heydar Aliyev is a very interesting person, considering that he is one of the world leaders, we can see that he is a very bright personality. I wanted to meet him even before he was elected president. But unfortunately, I was not successful. Our first communication was in Lisbon, then we met at other international events. Given that we are from different worlds, I have to say that today I had a very interesting experience.

It was very important for me today to listen to a well-known politician with vast political and life experience. A politician who understands the mechanisms of both totalitarianism and democracy. He is not only able to understand this but also able to make decisions in difficult times. When making these decisions, he thinks about the peace of people, about saving human lives, and leads his people into the future, showing great endurance and fortitude in difficult times.

Most of the leaders of Central and Southern Europe have not been able to achieve the results achieved by President Heydar Aliyev. History excluded leaders who failed to achieve certain results.

President Heydar Aliyev has leadership experience in the highest position. At the same time, he sincerely believes in the values of democracy, market economy, and human rights. The decisive ideas of President Heydar Aliyev can transform people, and people together can transform the destiny of a nation.

In my opinion, Heydar Aliyev has played and will continue to play a very important role in world politics. Today, I discovered another quality of his – the quality of a great statesman who joins important projects destined for several generations. I am referring to the Silk Road, which is to some extent a historical opportunity. The most important thing is not to use the people, but to serve the people.

President Heydar Aliyev is an outstanding politician, and several times in recent years I had the chance to discuss issues of mutual interest with him in a sincere and constructive manner.
