Heydar Aliyev’s devotion to the peace in the resolution of the Karabakh conflict is known to everyone, and I know that the Azerbaijani people highly appreciate his courage and wisdom, as a result of which a ceasefire was achieved, and since then Heydar Aliyev has been constantly working to pursue the tranquillity.

Azerbaijan is a country with great potential and with confidence can look forward to a bright economic future. In difficult times, the leadership of Heydar Aliyev did much to prepare for this future, and Heydar Aliyev can be proud of his many achievements.
