The National Leader of Azerbaijan is a very honorable person for me personally, as well as for the people of Belarus. The Great Leader was known as one of the fairest and most principled personalities when he worked in the leadership of the Soviet Union. Heydar Aliyev was an honest leader who fought uncompromisingly against negative situations in society and was an example for the younger generation. It was Heydar Aliyev who laid the foundation of the current high-level relations between our countries.
