Heydar Aliyev is a person who is able to untie all the knots.

It was thanks to my dear friend President Heydar Aliyev that I feel myself at home. I can’t call it my valour. But that’s how you welcomed me. I am happy that you accepted me here as a friend, as an Azerbaijani, and as a person who returned to his home.

My family loves Azerbaijan very much. Unlike me, Galina Pavlovna Vishnevskaya can hardly call anyone “her family”. However, I must say that Heydar Aliyev is her hero. So I’m happy that we’re of the same lineage.

   Despite the fact that God prescribed difficult and painful days for the fate of the Azerbaijani people, they were blessed by a great person who was able to endure these sufferings and be able to untie all the knots.

Thank you very much, you are doing a great job – you have made people the masters of your country, you have made great changes in the country as a whole, and you have raised its prestige. There is no precedent for this. You are a great person, the kind of person who stopped the war, and you maintain peace and tranquility on this earth.
