When we set foot in Baku in 1994, war was going in Azerbaijan, the future of the country was dark and foggy. Thanks to the leadership of President Heydar Aliyev, a ceasefire was reached, and this truce is still ongoing. Business opportunities for American companies are expanding. All this became possible as a result of the open government policy implemented in Azerbaijan. We should be grateful to President Heydar Aliyev for all this.

I wish that the outstanding leader, President Heydar Aliyev’s efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through peaceful means will be successful.
